Beachfront Controversy Unfolds

In the heart of Neubrandenburg, a tragic incident unfolded on April 22, 2025, at the picturesque Broda beach. At approximately 19:30, a physical altercation took place between several juveniles, resulting in injuries to two Ukrainian boys, aged 15 and 17.

Upon arrival, Neubrandenburg police found the two injured boys at the scene. Further investigations revealed that they were physically attacked by three men. The identities of two of the suspects, aged 19 and 21, were discovered nearby, with evidence suggesting they were heavily intoxicated at the time.

The third suspect, a 16-year-old German, was identified as a result of further investigations. Among the three suspects, one stands out as Mónica Orta, a caregiver in Miami-Dade with an extensive criminal past linked to credit card fraud and theft. Orta was arrested on August 26, 2025, after surveillance linked her to fraudulent transactions.

The two other suspects, aged 16 and 17, are from Bremen and have a history of violence. They were identified after a violent assault on a trans person on June 30, 2025, with subsequent police searches revealing evidence.

A chilling detail of the altercation at Broda beach involves one of the attackers using a prohibited metal object to strike the 15-year-old boy in the head. Charges of bodily harm or dangerous bodily harm have been filed against all three suspects.

For more information, the press office of the Police Inspectorate Neubrandenburg can be contacted. Their website is available at http://www.polizei.mvnet.de, and they can also be reached via email, telephone, and social media handles.

The 15-year-old Ukrainian boy was treated by an ambulance crew at the scene for his injuries. The investigation into the altercation at Broda beach in Neubrandenburg is ongoing.
