Maryland residents can look forward to a weekend of picturesque fall weather, as the forecast predicts a series of pleasant conditions over the coming days.

The meteorologist who has joined the WJZ First Alert Weather Team, Sarah Kunkle, previously working in Texas, has confirmed that humidity will remain low throughout the holiday weekend. This means that the cooler temperatures will feel even more refreshing, making it perfect for outdoor activities.

As we move into Sunday, temperatures will peak in the mid to upper 70s during the afternoon, providing a warm yet comfortable day. However, as the day progresses, temperatures will quickly cool into the 60s and eventually the 50s overnight, ensuring a crisp and cool evening. Sunday morning temperatures will average in the low to mid-50s.

The breeze will remain very light throughout Saturday night and into Sunday morning, providing a gentle touch to the cooler air. While a few more clouds are possible in western Maryland, there will be a lot of sunshine on Sunday, making it an ideal day to enjoy the autumn scenery.

There is a very slight chance of a brief rain shower in the mountains of far western Maryland on Sunday, particularly in the afternoon and early evening. However, this chance is minimal, and the majority of the state is expected to remain dry.

In the cooler areas, temperatures will briefly dip into the 40s early Saturday morning, providing a taste of the chilly nights to come as we move deeper into autumn.

Overall, the forecast promises beautiful fall-like weather across Maryland, making it an excellent opportunity to enjoy the season's changes and spend time outdoors with family and friends.
