Riot Games has confirmed that Blitzcrank, the League of Legends champion known for its powerful mechanical arms and focus on grapple and control combat, will be joining the roster of characters in the upcoming free-to-play brawler game, 2XKO.

The news of Blitzcrank's inclusion in 2XKO was initially leaked and later confirmed by Riot Games. The game, inspired by the universe of League of Legends, is planned as a live-service game with periodic updates.

The arrival of Blitzcrank in 2XKO brings a new stimulus to the competitive circuit, as it adds a grappler-style play that is not common in the current selection of characters. This variety of characters can significantly influence team strategy and the dynamics of the first tournaments.

Riot Games has shown a strategy of enriching the 2XKO roster with recognizable figures and innovative play proposals. In addition to Blitzcrank, Vi is also among the confirmed characters for 2XKO.

The closed beta for 2XKO, featuring Blitzcrank, will begin on Tuesday, September 9, and registration is open on the official game website. The beta period will be used to fine-tune game balance and resolve technical issues before the official release. Interested individuals can register for the beta on the official 2XKO portal to share their experiences with new characters, including Blitzcrank's gameplay.

The gameplay trailer for 2XKO shows Blitzcrank's range advantage and ability to initiate close-range attacks. In 2XKO, Blitzcrank will use its extendable arms to attract opponents and perform powerful combos.

The beta will remain available continuously until the official launch, allowing for user feedback and periodic improvements in game mechanics. The official launch of 2XKO is scheduled for 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

The person responsible for the development and release of 2XKO is game director Shaun Rivera, with the game developed and published by Riot Games. No exact date for the game's launch has been communicated yet.

With Blitzcrank's addition to the roster, fans of League of Legends and fighting games alike can look forward to the unique playstyle and mechanics that the character brings to 2XKO. Register for the beta today and join the fight!
