Blooms Encounter Vessel
The Landshuter Haferlmarkt is set to return for a three-day extravaganza from September 12th to 14th, transforming the Freyung into a mecca for ceramic lovers.
This year, a total of 29 exhibitors will showcase their unique interpretations of flowers and vases in ceramic art. The exhibition, open from Tuesday to Thursday, from 1 PM to 5 PM, and from Friday to Sunday, from 11 AM to 5 PM, will feature a diverse range of pieces, ranging from simple to playful and floral.
While the Landshuter Haferlmarkt does not have a specific theme of honoring the spirit of the times, it aims to celebrate the artistry and craftsmanship of the ceramic world. On Saturday, September 12th, a graduate of the renowned Landshut Ceramic School will present a special interpretation of flowers and ceramic vases, adding a touch of local talent to the event.
It's important to note that the Landshuter Haferlmarkt is a separate event from the special exhibition "Blume trifft Vase" taking place at the town hall. The Landshuter Haferlmarkt will also not be free to visit, unlike the "Blume trifft Vase" exhibition, where admission is free.
On a different note, the Landshuter Keramik will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 7 PM, a separate event that honours the rich ceramic tradition of the city.
Visitors to the Landshuter Haferlmarkt can expect a dialogue between floral art and ceramics, as the exhibited pieces will showcase the harmonious blend of these two art forms. The Landshuter Haferlmarkt will extend its hours on Friday and Saturday, from 10 AM to 7 PM, and on Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM, providing ample opportunity for art enthusiasts to explore and appreciate the exhibitions.
Whether you're a seasoned ceramic lover or simply curious about the art, the Landshuter Haferlmarkt promises to be an unmissable event for all. So mark your calendars and get ready to immerse yourself in the world of ceramics and floral design!
