JoAnne's dedication to education was evident throughout her life. She earned a BA, an M.A. in counseling, and a J.D. in law. While supporting Phillip's education, JoAnne worked as a secretary.
In addition to her academic pursuits, JoAnne was a beauty queen at heart. She was runner-up to Marilyn Van Derbur in the Junior Miss America Pageant, a testament to her grace and charm.
JoAnne's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and community. After her passing, a funeral will be held in Albuquerque on September 15, 2025.
