A Polish national, aged 50, found himself in multiple encounters with German authorities in June. The initial encounter took place at a control point on the A4 Motorway near Goerlitz, where he was turned back.

Later in the same month, the Polish national was found in Zentendorf, a community in the Neisse Valley. This encounter was not his first, as he had already been apprehended once before on the A4 Motorway.

The Polish national's right to enter and reside in Germany had been revoked by the immigration authority of the Göttingen district at the beginning of the year. Despite this, he was found disregarding the ban order by being in Germany twice in June.

Each apprehension resulted in a return to Poland by the Ludwigsdorf Federal Police Inspection. Yesterday, officers confronted the Polish national again with the entry ban, and he stated that he was only a few hundred meters from Poland and should be allowed to drive.

After being handcuffed and reported for suspected violation of the freedom of movement law, the temporary detention ended with another return to Poland. The authority that sent him back to Poland at the Hagenwerder border crossing was the German police.

The Ludwigsdorf Federal Police Inspection was involved in the returns of the Polish national to Poland. The Press Spokesperson for the Ludwigsdorf Federal Police Inspection is Michael Engler. Contact information for Michael Engler includes telephone number 0 35 81 - 3626-6110 and email address [email protected].

The news about the Polish national was transmitted via news aktuell. The official website for the Bundespolizeiinspektion Ludwigsdorf is www.bundespolizei.de.
