Build Night's Dream Sanctuary: Bed Construction Project in Manchester
On Wednesday, the Manchester chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be hosting a Bed Build event at the Beef Barn at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. This charitable organisation, led by Bob and Paige Thomas, is passionate about ensuring every child has a good place to sleep at night.
No experience or skills are necessary to volunteer for the event. Participants are welcome to come and go as it suits them, and all ages are welcome to participate. Kramer, the leader of the Delaware County chapter, invites people to help or just come and see what Sleep in Heavenly Peace is all about.
The event starts at 10 am and volunteers are needed to help build beds for children in the Delaware County area. These beds will be delivered to children who were previously sleeping on couches, mattresses, or the floor.
Since its inception four years ago, Sleep in Heavenly Peace has delivered approximately 450 beds to children in the Delaware County area. Interested individuals can apply for a bed through Sleep in Heavenly Peace's website.
If you're looking for a meaningful way to spend your time and make a difference in your community, consider volunteering for this worthy cause. For more information about the event, visit the Sleep in Heavenly Peace website or contact the Delaware County chapter.
