Burglars forced entry into a jewelry store in Manhattan Beach by cutting through the roof.

In the quiet coastal town of Manhattan Beach, a daring burglary took place over the Labor Day weekend. The South Bay Gold jewelry store, a popular destination for precious gems and luxury watches, was broken into between midnight and 4 a.m. on Monday, leaving millions in precious stones missing.

The jewelry store, which was closed for the holiday, was not the only victim of this audacious crime. Coast Music, a neighboring business that specialises in music lessons and instrument rentals, also fell prey to the thieves. A hole was discovered inside a classroom at Coast Music, suggesting that one of the burglars had cut a hole in the wall to gain access.

Matthew Rodriguez, a digital producer for the Los Angeles outlet, has been covering the breaking news and crime beat extensively. Rodriguez, who previously worked at the Argonaut and Pasadena Weekly, reported that the suspect was active in the walls of Coast Music for an extended period, using outlets to power their tools. The suspect also left behind blood at both the jewelry store and Coast Music, potentially providing valuable evidence for the investigation.

The thieves managed to break open all of the safes at the jewelry store, but their efforts did not go unnoticed. Coast Music's video surveillance may contain footage that could help identify the suspect. Owner Beth Rohde expressed hope that the suspect's blood left at the scene would aid in their capture.

Despite the incident, South Bay Gold's Torrance location remains open and is encouraging clients to visit. However, the Manhattan Beach store remains closed, with no word yet on when it will reopen. Coast Music, too, remains closed following the incident.

The search results do not provide any information about who stole the jewels at South Bay Gold in Manhattan Beach. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward and help solve this mystery. As the investigation continues, the community waits with bated breath, hoping for a swift resolution to this audacious crime.
