Burglary occurs in Riedlingen on Monday, perpetrated by a cunning thief.
In the heart of Ulm, a chilling incident unfolded on a sunny afternoon. At around 3 p.m., a 90-year-old man found himself in a troubling situation on the cemetery parking lot.
The senior was approached by a stranger, who asked to change a 2-euro coin. As the man bent down to pick up the coin that the stranger had dropped, the stranger took advantage of the moment and reached into the senior's car trunk, stealing an envelope containing the senior's bank transfer forms.
The thief was described as approximately 45-55 years old, around 170 cm tall, of slim build, with short dark hair with gray streaks, and an Eastern European appearance and accent. However, there is no information specifying the Eastern European city that is likely the background of the perpetrator.
The Ulm Police Headquarters is actively investigating the matter, and the Riedlingen police have also started an investigation to find the thief. For further inquiries, you can email [email protected].
In light of this incident, the police offer some advice to the public. They recommend not letting strangers see into your wallet and suggest not letting strangers help with change. Instead, only give change after receiving the amount to be changed. They also advise people to show courage and be impolite to deter strangers.
