A cyclist was injured in a traffic accident involving a BVG bus on Westphalian Street in Wilmersdorf early this morning.

The incident occurred just before 1 AM, near a depot, and the cyclist was traveling in the opposite direction on the bike lane when the accident happened. The cyclist sustained head and arm injuries in the accident.

Emergency services were promptly called to the scene, and the cyclist was transported to a hospital for further treatment. The condition of the cyclist is currently unknown.

The BVG bus, which was not severely damaged in the accident, was driven by a 61-year-old bus driver who was intending to turn left into the nearby depot at the time of the accident.
