Campaign Initiated on October 9th - Community Organization - Strengthening the Local Neighborhood Structure
The district authority and municipality of Hohenthann are hosting an informative event titled "Because we are neighbours" on 9th October 2025. The event will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the parish hall of St. Laurentius in Hohenthann.

The event is aimed at those who wish to establish an organized neighbourhood assistance in their community. Doris Rudolf from the "Living in Old Age" coordination office will give a presentation on the basic tasks and organization of a neighbourhood assistance. She will also discuss the possibility of state funding for such a project.
During the event, Ulrike Huettl from the Senior Citizens' Council Rottenburg and Stephanie Moeller from the neighbourhood assistance ANNA Altdorf will provide insights into two successful practical examples. The event will include presentations on the setup, re-establishment, and daily operations of an organized neighbourhood assistance.
Members of the neighbourhood assistance groups in Binatal, Ergolding, Furth, Geisenhausen, Neufahrn, and Velden will be available for an informative exchange. Doris Rudolf will give a presentation on the basic tasks and organization of a neighbourhood assistance, as well as discuss the possibility of state funding for such a project.
