Car accident on L423 highway, occurring between Mainz and Budenheim
On Saturday morning at around 11:40 AM, a serious head-on collision occurred on Landstraße 423 (L423) between Budenheim and Mainz. The collision involved a BMW and a VW Beetle.
The BMW, travelling from Mainz towards Budenheim, veered onto the opposite lane, causing the collision with the oncoming VW Beetle. Both drivers were injured in the accident. The 29-year-old BMW driver was driving inattentively at the time of the collision. The 44-year-old driver of the VW Beetle was also injured.
