Car Accident in Offenbach: Police Seek Witnesses

A car accident occurred in the city of Offenbach, with two individuals sustaining injuries. According to the police in Neu-Isenburg, the incident took place at the intersection of Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße and Gartenstraße.

The Mercedes C-Class, driven by a 19-year-old from Neu-Isenburg, was traveling on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße and intended to cross the intersection. Due to the inconsistent descriptions of the accident, the police are appealing for information from witnesses who were not involved.

The driver of the Opel, a 48-year-old from Neu-Isenburg, stated that he had stopped at the stop line of Gartenstraße. According to his statement, the Mercedes drove over the intersection at excessive speed and left the road for no apparent reason. Fortunately, his Opel remained undamaged.

Both the driver of the Mercedes and his 18-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment. No new details about the individuals involved were provided.

The police department of South East Hesse (Polizeipräsidium Südosthessen) conducted interviews with witnesses of the accident at the scene to obtain further information about the incident. Witnesses are asked to contact the Neu-Isenburg police station at 06102 2902-0 with any information they may have.

Information about the course of events is also sought from witnesses. The police are urging anyone who saw the accident to come forward, as their testimony could help clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
