Car collision incident near Neuss: A solitary driver loses control, veers off the road, and collides with a tree, resulting in a severely injured female passenger.
A single-vehicle accident on the A46 near Neuss on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 06:20 a.m. has left a 36-year-old woman from Meerbusch severely injured.
According to the Düsseldorf Police Press Office, the incident occurred in the curve of the Uedesheim exit. The woman was driving a Mercedes on the A46 towards Heinsberg when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a tree.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency services transported the injured woman to a hospital. Police officers conducted a breathalyzer test on the woman, which was reportedly positive, and her driver's license was confiscated.
The woman is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, and blood samples were taken for further investigation. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
