On August 13, 2025, at 16:55, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Werther Straße and Wiesenstraße in Bocholt, Germany. The accident involved an 87-year-old cyclist and a 64-year-old woman driving a car.

The cyclist was traveling on the bike path of Werther Straße towards Wiesenstraße when they turned left onto the roadway and collided with the car. As a result, the cyclist was severely injured and was taken to a hospital by rescue forces. The current condition of the cyclist is unknown.

The Borken County Police is responsible for the ongoing investigation of the traffic accident. A specialized accident recording team has been called in to investigate the specific details of the accident. The driver of the car involved in the collision was also a 64-year-old woman.
