Car crash leaves two individuals hurt on the roadside
In Hamm, Germany, on September 6, 2025, a significant traffic accident occurred on Bockumer Weg 14. Two individuals, a 54-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, were involved in the incident.
The man, who was driving an Opel, veered onto the opposite lane for unknown reasons and collided with a parked VW Golf. The impact caused the Opel to spin and collide with another parked Opel, which was pushed into an adjacent fence. The Opel's collision also caused it to tip over and strike the side of a BMW driven by the 37-year-old woman.
Both the Opel driver and the BMW driver were seriously and lightly injured, respectively. They were taken to local hospitals by the fire department. The woman was later released after outpatient treatment, but the man remained in inpatient treatment.
As a result of the accident, Bockumer Weg was closed at house number 14 for the duration of the accident investigation. Three vehicles were towed away from the accident site, and the parked Opel was moved.
