Car Crash on A9 Leaves Multiple Victims; Witnesses Sought for Investigation (FRA-POL: (844))

On Friday evening, August 29, 2025, a significant traffic accident occurred on the A9 near Schwanstetten, district of Roth. The collision involved a truck, a motorhome, and two other vehicles (a BMW with a caravan and another BMW).
Sadly, six people were injured in the accident, with several sustaining severe injuries. The driver of the motorhome, his passenger, and a six-year-old child were among those severely injured. Fortunately, the occupants of the BMW vehicles escaped unharmed.
The 8-year-old and 14-year-old occupants of the vehicle and the 50-year-old truck driver were reported to have only light injuries.
Numerous firefighters from Allersberg and Hilpoltstein were on the scene, and several ambulance vehicles transported the injured to nearby hospitals.
Several units of the traffic police in Feucht are currently investigating the accident. The police are urging witnesses who observed the accident to contact them on the telephone number 09128 91970.
The motorway was temporarily closed in connection with the accident investigation.
