Car manufacturers North-Ostsee and BCA solidify their trustworthy business alliance
North Sea Automobile Partners with BCA Germany for Enhanced Operations
North Sea Automobile, a German industry giant, has recently partnered with BCA Germany, a leading European vehicle marketer, to boost transparency, efficiency, and sustainability in their operations. The partnership, which has proven to be successful even during times of crisis like the Corona pandemic, has resulted in a significant increase in vehicle sales.
As of the beginning of the year, North Sea Automobile belongs to the Dutch Van Mossel Automotive Group. The company, with 40 branches in 24 different cities across Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Berlin/Brandenburg, and Hannover, is the most prominent brand in the current portfolio, accounting for around 42 percent. Other brands in the portfolio include Volkswagen, Hyundai, Audi, and Ford.
The partnership with BCA has been beneficial for both operational and strategic reasons, according to Nico Ferch, team leader of Young Stars at North Sea Automobile. BCA prepares and professionally markets the vehicles picked up at North Sea Automobile's locations, and thanks to its Europe-wide network, even hard-to-sell vehicles find their buyers, particularly in the export market.
BCA offers two services to North Sea Automobile: SchadenBusiness B2B Auctions, targeting the car dealership business, and Used Car GW Marketing, focusing on online marketing. Since the beginning of this year, North Sea Automobile has also owned the company Frauscher Werft.
The current portfolio of vehicles sold by North Sea Automobile, in partnership with BCA, includes over 25 brands, covering the entire market from classic combustion engines to hybrids to pure electric mobility. Sven Schmidt has taken over the management of BCA Auto Auctions.
David Neuendorf, Commercial Director of BCA Germany, has expressed positive sentiments about the partnership, stating, "We appreciate the trust that North Sea Automobile places in us and are pleased to further expand this successful partnership." North Sea Automobile has been ranked among the 20 largest car dealers in Germany in 2025, by turnover.
