Casino chain Station Casinos removes memorials honoring Charlie Kirk following receipt of threatening phone calls
In a surprising turn of events, memorial messages honouring the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who passed away in 2025, have been removed from Station Casinos' properties in Las Vegas. This decision was made in response to a series of threats made against the casino chain.
The suspect behind these threats, 26-year-old Thomas 'TJ' Fedikovich, residing in Henderson, Nevada, was arrested by the Henderson Police Department in September 2025. According to reports, Fedikovich was frequently present in Henderson around early to mid-September, as indicated by his arrest at a Starbucks in Henderson on September 13.
Fedikovich is currently in custody, charged with making threats against Station Casinos. The ordeal began when he allegedly made a call to Sunset Station, one of Station Casinos' properties, expressing his disapproval of the memorial messages for Kirk that were posted on marquees at Palace and Sunset Station last Wednesday.
In the call, Fedikovich reportedly threatened to destroy the sign and harm the CEO if the memorial was not removed. Shocked by the threats, Station Casinos, a subsidiary of Red Rock Resorts, decided to take down the memorials from their properties to ensure the safety of their employees and patrons.
Sadly, this was not the only threat made by Fedikovich. In a second call to Sunset Station, he allegedly reiterated his threats, further emphasising the need for the memorial's removal.
The removal of the memorial messages has sparked a wave of controversy, with many expressing their disappointment at the decision. However, the safety and security of all involved remains the top priority for Station Casinos.
As the investigation into the threats continues, the community awaits updates on the situation and the fate of the memorial for Charlie Kirk.
