Cast your votes to decide the victor of this year's Environment&Me photo contest's Public Choice Award, sponsored by our agency.
The 'Environment&Me' photo competition 2025, hosted by an unspecified organization or agency, invites citizens across Europe to share their personal stories about their connection to the environment. This year's competition features three categories: BLUE - Water & Me, GREEN - Nature & Me, and ORANGE - Everyday life & Me.
The competition aims to showcase takes on the planet's journey toward a sustainable future. Among the shortlisted entries are some truly inspiring and thought-provoking images. One of the standout photos features a daring ladybug attempting a delicate climb from one flower stem to another in Anella Verda de Terrassa, Spain. Another captures a grim scene of a fireman standing beside a grey dead tree in the dried-out Lake Koronia, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Voting for the public's favourite photo is now open and runs until 15 July at 23.59 (CET). Each person is only allowed to vote once, but they can cast their vote for multiple photos if they wish. In addition to the category winners, who will receive a cash prize of EUR 1,000, there is also a Public Choice Award available for voting.
A total of 42 entries have been shortlisted out of 1800 pictures submitted from across 36 countries in Europe. The competition also awards additional prizes for the best youth entry and the public's favourite photo.
The search results do not provide information about which person received the favourite vote for the public prize in the "Environment&Me" competition this year. However, the winners for each category and the Public Choice Award will be announced on 25 July.
