Catastrophic Mishap on North Hills Roadway
In the heart of Dönberg, an unfortunate incident occurred on September 5, 2025, as a collision between a white Chevrolet and a BMW took place at the intersection of Horather Street and Nordrather Street.
The accident unfolded around 2:30 PM, with the Chevrolet, occupied by three individuals, traveling straight ahead on Horather Street. Simultaneously, a BMW, driven by a 19-year-old man from Warburg, was attempting to turn left from Ibacher Mill Street onto Nordrather Street. According to preliminary investigations, the BMW allegedly failed to notice the oncoming Chevrolet, resulting in a collision in the intersection area.

The police swiftly secured the tracks on the road and on both vehicles to determine the speeds involved. They also completely blocked off the intersection during the rescue and recovery operations. A ladder was set up to provide a better overview, and pictures of the accident scene were taken for further investigation.
Emergency services attended to the injured and provided first aid at the accident site. Three ambulances and a paramedic arrived shortly after the collision, and all four individuals involved in the accident were taken to hospitals for further treatment. The exact health status of the individuals is not yet known, but there is no risk to their lives.
Traffic disruptions and rerouting occurred due to the blocked intersection. The area was reopened after the spilled fluids were removed, and the fire department absorbed these fluids from both vehicles.
