Cavirtex Adopts Vogogo's Offerings
In a significant move for the digital currency market in Canada, three leading exchanges – Cavirtex, Bitcoin Brains, and Taurus Exchange – have signed an agreement with Vogogo, a renowned payment processing and risk management platform.
Since its inception, Cavirtex has facilitated over $100 million in Bitcoin trades, and with this partnership, the focus remains on making it easier for Canadians to transition between Bitcoin and the Canadian Dollar. Joseph Onorati, CEO of CAVIRTEX, emphasized the importance of seamless transactions, stating, "Our goal is to provide a user-friendly platform that simplifies the process of converting between fiat money and Bitcoins in Canada."
Vogogo, known for its services chosen by established and emerging crypto-exchanges, is set to integrate their platform with CAVIRTEX's, aiming to make Bitcoin more accessible to Canadians. Geoff Gordon, CEO of Vogogo, expressed optimism about the company's capabilities and reputation, stating, "We spent most of 2014 preparing our system for cryptocurrencies, and we're excited to bring our services to the table."
The integration is expected to unlock new and lucrative markets in 2015, allowing seamless transactions between fiat money and Bitcoins not only in Canada but also in the US and the EU.
Bitcoin Brains, a physical exchange based in Calgary, and Taurus Exchange, which uses multi-signature wallet technology, are also part of this partnership. Vogogo is looking forward to working with various crypto exchange teams in 2015.
The expected integration will mark a significant milestone in the digital currency market, making transactions more efficient and accessible for users across North America and Europe. As the digital currency market continues to grow, partnerships like this one are expected to become more common, further solidifying the legitimacy and accessibility of digital currencies.
