Celebrating Eid-el-Maulud: Governor Wike Encourages FCT Residents to Unite and Offer Prayers for Tinubu
Minister Nyesom Wike Urges Unity and Peace During Eid-el-Maulud Celebrations in Abuja
Eid-el-Maulud, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, is being commemorated by Muslims in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Minister Nyesom Wike, the head of the FCT Administration, took the occasion to call for peace, unity, and compassion among residents.
In a speech, Wike encouraged residents to extend a hand of friendship, reach out to their neighbours, and foster a sense of community. He pledged that the FCT Administration would continue to focus on infrastructure, security, healthcare, and emergency services, and urged citizens to support the government by obeying traffic regulations, paying taxes, and fulfilling civic duties.
The minister appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's support for the FCT Administration and efforts towards the development of the capital. He also called on residents to pray for the success of President Tinubu.
Wike lauded law enforcement agencies, healthcare workers, and essential service providers for keeping the capital city safe and functional. He praised residents for their cooperation in maintaining peace and harmony.
