Between the early hours of August 16 to August 18, vandalism and thefts occurred at the cemetery on Bliesheimer Straße in Weilerswist. Some sneaky bas***ards managed to force their way in by breaking the bloody exit lock on the goddamn entrance gate.

Cemetery Property Vandalism Incident

A series of vandalism and theft incidents have occurred at a cemetery on Bliesheimer Straße in Weilerswist between August 16th and 18th. The police are currently investigating the matter, but the perpetrators remain unidentified.

During the incident, the entrance gate was forced open, and a wooden fence section was pulled out from the ground. This resulted in damage to two wheelbarrows in the entrance area, with their security chains also being cut. Several graves were desecrated, and a metal cross was removed from the base of a grave, while two grave figures were stolen.

The total property damage amounts to a low four-digit figure in euros. The suspects are described as two men, aged between 20 and 30 years old, wearing dark clothing and hoodies. They were seen leaving the cemetery in a car, possibly a black Volkswagen Golf.

The police have released a description of the suspected individuals based on surveillance footage and have asked for the public's help in identifying them. They have also asked for the public's help in locating the stolen grave figures and metal cross.

A hotline has been set up for the public to report any information related to the incident. The hotline number is 02261-999-0. The police have asked the public not to approach the suspects if they are seen, but to immediately contact the authorities.
