A firework was set off in a classroom at a school on Franz-Zang-Straße in Ludwigshafen, Germany, on December 13, 2024, at 10:40 AM. The incident resulted in the injury of a 63-year-old teacher.

According to the head of the Rheinpfalz Police Headquarters, Chief Inspector Markus Neumann, the individual responsible for the incident is a 17-year-old student. The student will now face charges for negligent bodily harm.
