The team, comprising middle school students, teachers, and alumni, completed an impressive 686 laps, equating to 274.4 kilometers.

Under the leadership of sports teacher Klaus Kistner, who also oversees the school's running club, the team achieved the 18th place in the competition. This achievement was celebrated by the runners and the community alike, making the 24-hour run an annual highlight for HHS and its students.

The team, known as "Obertshausen runs - Team of the Schools," received certificates for their performance from Mayor Manuel Friedrich. The municipal children and youth promotion of Obertshausen also supported the team during the run, adding to the sense of community spirit.
