In the Siberian city of Omsk, residents have expressed concern and frustration over a first-day line-up held at School No. 33 on September 2. The event, which traditionally takes place outdoors, was moved indoors to a small, insufficiently ventilated sports hall, causing poor air quality and leading several children to fall ill.

According to reports, the line-up was cancelled due to the children's poor health, as several children felt unwell within ten minutes of the event starting, with some becoming unconscious. Concerned parents quickly took their children to the school nurse for immediate assistance.

The sports hall, which was packed with over five hundred participants, including children, students, parents, and teachers, was not equipped to accommodate such a large crowd, making it hard to breathe. Despite several windows being opened for ventilation, the air quality did not improve.

The principal responsible for holding the outdoor ceremony is Principal Martina Wirsing. However, the administration of Omsk did not provide any information about changes to the line-up procedure following the incident. The Omsk mayor's office also did not comment on the situation.

The line-up at School No. 33 on September 2 caused outrage among Omsk residents on social media, with many expressing their concern for the children's health and safety. The event has since become a topic of discussion, with calls for improved safety measures and transparency in decision-making.

As the weather conditions improve, the school administration has decided to move future line-ups back outside. The hope is that this change will ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for all participants. The school and local authorities are urged to take necessary steps to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
