With casinos like Sun Monticello and Enjoy Viña del Mar serving as the main hubs for live poker, the frequency and scale of tournaments remain modest. Dreams Casino, a chain based in southern Chile, has been leading the charge, hosting events like the Patagonia Aces tournament in Punta Arenas, attracting players from far and wide. Yet, these initiatives are few and far between, with overall infrastructure still in its infancy.
Online poker in Chile exists in a legal grey area. While the government has granted a monopoly for online games to Polla Chilena, poker is not included.
