Chile's Casinos See 3% Revenue Dip in August
Chile's 25 land-based casinos saw a dip in gaming revenue last month, with a 3% decrease recorded in August. The total revenue amounted to CLP46.96 billion (€41.6 million).
The Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego (SCJ), established in 2005, oversees these casinos. Despite the slight downturn, the revenue still contributed significantly to the local economy.
The August figures reflect a minor setback in Chile's game industry, but the SCJ continues to monitor and regulate the sector, ensuring its sustainable growth.
