In the heart of our city, Kieler Str. 1, a new tutoring center named Bakis Tutoring has recently opened its doors. Established by local resident Umit Bakis on May 5, 2025, this center is dedicated to providing individual, extracurricular learning for children and young people.
Umit, who specializes in mathematics and languages, has designed the tutoring approach at Bakis to combine flexibility, structure, and the Pomodoro Technique. This unique method involves group sessions where students learn for 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute break.
Bakis Tutoring stands out from other learning facilities in the Nordhessen region. A comprehensive search reveals no similar individual, extracurricular learning facilities for children and youth offering the same range of services.
The center offers creative painting courses for children and young people every Saturday. These courses, open to participants up to 14 years old, foster creativity, concentration, relaxation, and fine motor skills. In these courses, participants experiment with colors, shapes, and various materials.
The course system at Bakis Tutoring starts at 119 euros per month and can be cancelled monthly. The Saturday painting courses take place between 2 and 3:30 PM or 3:30 to 5 PM, providing maximum flexibility in group lessons, with students able to join every 30 minutes between 2 and 6 PM.
