City education discussions intertwine with political momentum, sparking fresh ideas in local community

In the heart of our city, over 90 representatives from politics, administration, and educational institutions gathered for the Network Meeting of the Education Forum. The event, held at the Palace in Monaco, emphasised the importance of offering the best possible development and education opportunities for children and youth, regardless of origin, living situation, or support needs.

First Mayor Daniel Jung opened the meeting, underscoring the need to address the current challenges in our city's education system. He highlighted the increase in psychological illnesses among children and youth, and the urgent need for support in both school and out-of-school settings. The need to strengthen educational and parenting partnerships was also emphasised.

Bettina Pauli, a member of office staff involved in preparations for events at the Palace, underscored the importance of a strong togetherness for a strong educational landscape. The Education Forum, for which she is a part, believes that the network, in addition to professionalism, creativity, humanity, and shared visions, is essential for the education of children and youth.

Several groups initiated measures such as better networking of support offers, targeted qualifications for pedagogical staff, and low-threshold support offers for parents. The City of our city was represented by the magistrate, with contact information provided for further discussions.
