City encourages involvement for new housing development centered around fishing pastime
The Urban Planning Department of Münster has announced a public participation event for the development of a new city quarter on Heidestraße in Angelmodde. This event, taking place on Monday, September 8, will be held in the hall of the St. Ida parish center, Vornste Esch 22, starting at 6 pm.
The city is collaborating with Vivawest Wohnen GmbH in the development of this new quarter. The company is actively working with the city to create a neighbourhood with approximately 450 residential units.
The urban design of the new city quarter includes elements from the fields of urban planning, landscape design, and drainage. This development also includes a public playground, childcare facilities, and a four-year comprehensive school situated adjacent to the south of the new quarter.
During the participation event, the urban design will be presented, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions. After the event, written feedback can be submitted via an online form on the Urban Planning Department's website from September 8 to October 3.
The participation event is a part of the building permit procedure and the parallel amendment procedure for the land use plan. This event is an essential step in the development process for the new city quarter on Heidestraße in Angelmodde.
All interested parties are invited to attend the participation event on Monday, September 8. The results of the participation event will be published on the Urban Planning Department's website at www.stadt-unser website/stadtplanung after the event.
