City Mayor Dr. Bieri proposes a challenge: Gathering 200 individuals dressed in sports attire?
On Friday, 12th September, Hanau will be bustling with excitement as the city hosts a series of events to mark the tenth anniversary of urban renewal. The Sports Action Day, organised by Hanau Marketing GmbH and supported by the Hanau Sports Association, forms a significant part of these celebrations.
The event promises a mix of sports activities, music, parties, and other programs. If at least 200 people in sportswear gather at the Forum Hanau between 16:00 and 18:00, the Forum Hanau will donate 1,000 euros to the JUZ k-town Kesselstadt. Mayor Dr. Maximilian Bieri has made a sports bet that this target will be met.
The Special Olympics State Games will also take place during the event, adding another layer of excitement. Among the sports activities, Zumba, led by TV Mittelbuchen, will start a few minutes past 16:00. The Jumping Swans, a rope-skipping team, will also be present, offering rope-skipping activities.
The main focus of the event is to discover the city anew and learn about ten years of urban renewal. "Gesundes Hanau e.V." will offer workshops like "Inner Balance for a Stable Back", "Yoga Standing: The Dance of the Spine", and "Stress Less: Relax into the Evening and the Weekend".
