In the heart of Northern Germany, the city of Osnabrück is set to host a diverse and engaging cultural programme from August 29th to 31st. The city's cultural department has curated an array of events that cater to various interests, spanning from art and music to environmental conservation.

Kicking off the weekend, visitors can immerse themselves in the artistic world of Felix Nussbaum on Saturday at 2 PM, with a free guided tour. For those with a creative flair, the opportunity to make jointed puppets inspired by the works of Pit and Peggs, or experiment with seed balls, inspired by Friedensreich Hundertwasser's thoughts on nature conservation, awaits on Saturday as well.

The Museum Quarter, Kunsthalle, and Museum am Schölerberg will offer free admission on both Saturday and Sunday, making it an ideal time to explore these cultural institutions. On Saturday, pop-up tours of the Kunsthalle's artworks in the public space in and around the Castle Garden will take place between 12 pm and 3 pm.

The city's sculpture collection in the public space will be the focus of a discovery tour around the sculptures, organised by the Kunsthalle, on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Music and Art School will host a participatory concert of singing and drumming for all ages at the Market on Saturday from 4 pm to 5:15 pm.

For music lovers, the choir "Vokalconsort Osnabrück" will perform a special concert experience in the church nave of the Art Hall on Friday at 9 PM. Tickets are available via www.vokalconsort.de or at the box office in the Art Hall.

On the Nature and Environment Mile, from August 29th to 31st, Museum am Schölerberg will be represented with its new environmental vehicle "Grashüpfer". The Mile will also feature a sustainability wheel of fortune, teaching visitors about the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Short tours of the annual program "Ghosts" through the current exhibitions of Chaveli Sifre, Minh Duc Pham, and Christian Diaz Orejarena will be free and available on Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, August 31st, starting every full hour. A family tour Hundertwasser is also free on Saturday at 3:30 PM.

On Sunday, August 31st, a public guided tour in the Villa will be free at 11 AM, and another guided tour through the permanent exhibition "City Traces Osnabrück" including a visit to the Buck tower will cost 4 euros (meeting point: cloakroom area). A public guided tour Felix Nussbaum will also be free on Sunday at 4 PM.

Three large brass formations of the Music and Art School will play on the main stage of Radio 21 in front of the town hall on Saturday between 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday between 11 am to 6 pm on the Osnabrück Mile at the Cathedral.

This weekend promises to be a fascinating blend of culture, education, and sustainability. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a music lover, or someone interested in environmental issues, there's something for everyone in Osnabrück.
