City Tram Thief Prospers in Criminal Activity
On Tuesday, 2nd September 2025, a pickpocket incident occurred on Stadtbahn line 2 in Bielefeld city centre. The victim was a 50-year-old woman who was travelling on the tram at around 09:20 AM.
The perpetrator, who has not yet been caught, is an unknown man. He is approximately 1.70 meters tall, around 25 years old, and has a southern European appearance. The suspect was wearing dark shorts, a dark backpack, and had a beard and short dark hair.
The incident took place at Jahnplatz in the city centre. The suspect reached into the woman's pocket and stole her dark green Samsung Galaxy Ultra 23 phone, which was in the inner pocket of her jacket. After stealing the phone, the suspect fled the scene.
