"Clarinet Performances in Marienkirche Resonate with Hungarian Influence"
On Sunday, August 31st, music lovers are invited to attend the "Music at the Marientor" event, taking place at the Marienkirche, Josef-Kiefer-Straße 10. The concert, scheduled to start at 5 PM, promises an enchanting evening of classical music with a focus on clarinet performances infused with Hungarian influences.
The event will feature a quintet, with Inés Bueno Lopez performing on the cello, Tonio Schibel & Osman Mustafazade on the violin, Mariia Matsiievska on the piano, Leona Kondratenko on the viola, and Andreas Oberaigner on the clarinet.
The concert programme includes a combination of classical pieces from different composers. W. A. Mozart's Quintet in B-flat major KV 516c, Johannes Brahms' Clarinet Quintet in B minor, op. 115, and Béla Bartók's Contrasts for Violin, Clarinet, and Piano are among the pieces to be performed.
