Clash Erupts between Congress and BJP Supporters in Gujarat amidst Public Demonstration over Remarks against PM Modi in Bihar

In the political landscape of Darbhanga, Bihar, a heated incident has sparked a political row, as a man, identified as Mohammad Rizvi alias Raza (20), was accused of hurling abusive language at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother during a Congress rally.

The incident, which reportedly took place on Wednesday, occurred during Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Voter Adhikar rally' in Darbhanga. The accused was promptly detained from the Singhwara locality of Darbhanga town, and the Darbhanga Police have arrested him and are sending him to the honorable court.

The BJP, outraged by the incident, has demanded an apology from the Congress over the PM Modi abuse incident. BJP leaders and ministers across the country have condemned the incident, with BJP Delhi President Virendra Sachdeva leading a protest outside the Congress Headquarters in Delhi. Similar protests were also staged by BJP workers outside the Congress office in Surat.

BJP's Darbhanga district president Aditya Narayan Choudhary filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a case against the accused and others. The incident has further fuelled political tension in the poll-bound state of Bihar, with the BJP protesters calling for an apology from Rahul Gandhi.

Sachdeva, in his statement, called the incident an unpardonable offence and accused Congress members of hurling insults at PM Modi and his mother during a political event. He further questioned how Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra could accept such an insult to PM Modi's late mother, as they are also mothers.

As of the provided information, the Congress has not issued an apology yet. The Darbhanga Police are investigating the matter further, and no new information has been provided about Rahul Gandhi being named in an FIR. The political fallout from this incident continues to unfold as the polls in Bihar approach.
