On Monday afternoon, a physical altercation took place on a customer parking lot in Helvetia Parc, located on Darmstadt Street near the federal highway B44 in Groß-Gerau. The incident has led to the hospitalisation of two individuals, a 43-year-old driver and another participant, whose identities have not been disclosed.

The altercation reportedly began as a verbal argument between the drivers of two vehicles. According to initial reports, a hammer and a shovel were involved in the altercation. However, the police do not believe these items caused the injuries sustained by the two individuals.

Multiple police units were deployed to the scene to manage the situation. The investigation for dangerous bodily harm is currently being conducted by the Polizeidirektion Groß-Gerau. The police have clarified that the three occupants of the other vehicle from the initial dispute were not involved in the altercation. The injured parties have been treated in the hospital, and their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
