Cold weather persists in Minnesota over the weekend

The Twin Cities are in for a mild week, with temperatures expected to climb into the 70s starting on Monday and remaining there throughout Tuesday. However, residents should be prepared for a chillier night on Saturday, as patchy frost is possible.

Looking ahead to Friday, high temperatures in the Twin Cities will reach the upper 50s, with isolated light showers possible. The weekend will see a slight increase in temperatures, with highs on Saturday expected to reach the low 60s. Sunday will be even warmer, with high temperatures predicted to reach the mid 60s.

On Monday, scattered showers and storms are possible, and isolated storms are also forecast for Tuesday. Another front is due to arrive on Tuesday as well.
