Collaboration between InfoComm and AVI Systems continues with the presentation of InfoComm Esports Live 2.0
InfoComm, the leading trade show for the audiovisual industry, is set to host a unique event this year - InfoComm Esports Live 2.0. In collaboration with AVI Systems, the event promises to be bigger and better, featuring live esports competitions, expert presentations, and tech demonstrations.
From June 12-14, Austin "Austy" Champion, a passionate esports enthusiast, will take the helm as the host. The event will showcase various stages, each offering a different experience.
The Gaming Stage will be the heart of the action, featuring collegiate teams battling it out in live three-on-three Rocket League matches. The Shoutcast Stage will provide play-by-play action coverage, offering a human perspective of esports gaming and communities.
For those interested in the business side of esports and the technology that fuels its momentum, the Coaches' Stage is a must-visit. Here, attendees can meet with coaches and gain insights into the journey many colleges and universities are experiencing related to technology and esports.
The Production Stage will be a showcase of innovative tech, including Vizrt live TV and a media production suite, supported by Sony monitors and AJA routing and conversion equipment.
College technology experts from eFootprints will also share their insights about the esports journey, while Bubba Gaeddert, Executive Director of the Videogames and Esports Foundation, will discuss the future of gaming and esports in AV.
Joshua Kell, CEO of Horizon AVL and Esports Integration, will lead a session about building a facility around esports. InfoComm will also host an Integrated Experience Tour of HyperX Arena on Wednesday, June 12, allowing attendees to go behind the scenes of this esports venue.
The gaming battle stations will feature top-of-the-line equipment, including CORSAIR gaming PCs, Logitech G gaming peripherals, Sony inZone gaming displays and headsets, Spectrum esports desks and chairs.
InfoComm attendees are invited to an Events and Entertainment Meetup on Thursday, June 13, at 4 p.m. PT at AVIXA Xchange LIVE (W2847). An InfoComm show floor tour focused on Events and Entertainment will be led by Amanda Eberle on Thursday, June 13 at 11 a.m. PT.
The Rocket League will be played on all three days of InfoComm, with the championship game played on June 14. After a double elimination, the top three teams will win prizes.
Champion-level players from top esports college and university programs will participate, making InfoComm Esports Live 2.0 a must-attend event for esports enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
