This innovative solution, approved for use with Siegwerk's linerless labels, complies with Nestlé guidelines and Swiss and German printing ink regulations. The approval for BPA-free coatings from Siegwerk Printing Inks for Ravenwood Packaging's linerless systems was given by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).
The varnishes approved for use with Siegwerk's linerless labels meet strict migration limits and toxicological standards defined by the GIO. This compliance facilitates the international market access of the varnishes, making them suitable for applications in the food, pharma, and hygiene sectors.
