Collaborative Announcement: Kaynes Semicon and Emerson India Agree to Facilitate NI Test Systems Implementation at Sanand OSAT, as Revealed at Semicon India 2025

Kaynes Semicon announces a strategic partnership with Emerson's NI Semiconductor Test Systems (STS) at Semicon India 2025. This collaboration aims to unify test infrastructure across Kaynes' analog, mixed-signal, RF, power, and MEMS devices.

The NI STS test solution, a PXI-based platform offering compact form factor, reconfigurable architecture, and software integration through LabVIEW and TestStand, is expected to enhance production speed, ensure test flexibility, and shorten time-to-market for Kaynes.

Emerson's hardware and software capabilities are seen as a key advantage in the partnership. Offering modular, flexible, and scalable systems, the NI STS test solution is designed to respond quickly to changing test requirements and can evolve into different kinds of chips that manufacturers like Kaynes will be testing in the future.

The NI STS platforms can also help manufacturers like Kaynes reduce equipment redundancy and streamline workflow by offering reuse of instruments and multi-site execution.

The partnership will deploy Emerson's NI STS as the preferred platform across Kaynes' expanding semiconductor test facilities, replacing the current test systems supplied by Teradyne.

Emerson's strong India presence, including field engineers, application support, and training resources, ensures seamless implementation and long-term success for Kaynes' test operations. Shitendra Bhattacharya, Country Head and Director of Emerson Test and Measurement Business Group, has emphasized the value and synergy of the partnership in achieving India's semiconductor ambitions.

Mr. Raghu Panicker, CEO of Kaynes Semicon Private Limited, has stated that Emerson's STS will be integrated into the products that Kaynes assembles and tests in Sanand, Gujarat.

The partnership reinforces Emerson's vision of establishing itself as a trusted Test-as-a-Service partner for the semiconductor industry. However, no specific financial details regarding the partnership have been disclosed.

This collaboration is set to position Kaynes Semicon and Emerson at the forefront of the growing semiconductor ecosystem in India.
