Collision on the roads attributed to inexperienced driver by Polish authorities

In an unfortunate incident, a traffic accident occurred in Hohenlimburg, Hagen on Friday evening at 9:40 PM. According to a statement released by Polizei Hagen via news aktuell, the accident happened near the intersection with Georg-Scheer-Straße.

The accident involved a novice driver operating a VW Polo and a stationary Peugeot, which was indicating to turn left into Georg-Scheer-Straße. Despite an evasive maneuver, the VW Polo collided with the Peugeot and several parked cars at the roadside.

Fortunately, the driver of the Peugeot was uninjured in the accident. However, the novice driver sustained minor injuries to his head and shoulder. Witnesses initially treated the novice driver before he was taken to a hospital in Iserlohn by ambulance.

Sadly, six cars were damaged in the accident, including two that were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away. The estimated material damage caused by the accident is in the higher five-figure range.

Daniel Gercke, head of the operations staff of the Siegen-Wittgenstein police authority, was the police leader involved in the incident.
