Mushroom Identification Hike
Join Stefan Hartwig, Mushroom Expert of the German Society for Mycology (DGfM), for a guided hike through the woods of Bad Neualbenreuth on September 28th. This event is perfect for both beginners and experienced mushroom pickers. Beginners will receive tips for getting started, while seasoned enthusiasts can expand their repertoire. The hike will cover the ecology, edibility, toxicity, and processing of mushrooms, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
The hike is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM, with a meeting point at Wanderparkplatz Wernersreuth, Bad Neualbenreuth. The event is expected to last approximately 2 - 3 hours. The minimum number of participants is 5, and the maximum is 25 people. Registration must be completed by Sunday, September 22nd.
Historical Gold Mining Exhibition
For those interested in history, the Doctor Eisenbarth and City Museum in Oberviechtach offers an insightful exhibition on historical gold mining. This event is also scheduled for September 28th, starting at 9:00 AM.
