Company appoints Douglas Grimm to its board of directors
Douglas Grimm, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the automotive and mobility sectors, has been elected to Lucid Group's board of directors, effective June 5, 2023.
Currently serving as the CEO of V-to-X, a mobility sector consultancy, Grimm brings a wealth of industry knowledge to Lucid Group, an electric vehicle maker. His appointment comes at a time when the company is navigating significant changes, following the departure of co-founder and CEO, Peter Rawlinson.
Grimm's career in the automotive industry began with Chrysler in the mid-1980s. Since then, he has held several executive positions at Dana Inc., and served as board chairman for companies such as Blue Bird Corp., a bus maker, and Electrical Components International, an electrical distribution systems supplier. He also serves as board chairman for Pangea Corp., an entertainment development and creative services company.
In addition, Grimm is a current board member for automotive lighting supplier Lumileds and has been associated with a company focused on improving cybersecurity in the automotive sector.
