"Complaints to our previous vacuum cleaner suppliers were ignored, leading us to manufacture our own line of vacuum cleaners."
In the heart of the Ural region, SCART, a local manufacturer, has been making waves in the industrial vacuum market. Founded 11 years ago by Yuri Cherepnykh, the company has been consistently delivering innovative technical products, with a particular focus on industrial vacuums.
SCART currently produces 60 industrial vacuums monthly, a figure they aim to increase in the future. Their production facilities, occupying approximately 525 sq.m, are located in Uralmash, with a separate office in the city center.
The company's journey has not been without challenges. Initially, they attempted to produce flexible bricks and thermopanels, but faced issues. However, they persevered and found success with industrial vacuums. The turning point came when they completed the "Breakthrough" production accelerator program and expanded their team, moving three times in the process.
SCART differentiates itself through fair pricing and service levels. Their vacuums are made entirely of metal and reinforced to withstand mechanical impacts, ensuring durability and reliability. Some of their models can operate at extreme temperatures, such as -50°C and +85°C, making them versatile for various industrial environments.
The company's products are not seasonal and have remained stable during the pandemic and partial mobilization. They have even found success in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, with a particular focus on Kazakhstan and Belarus. While the market in these countries is small, SCART aims to increase sales there.
The industrial vacuum market in the Ural region has only one known competitor, with eight competitors in Russia. Despite this, finding skilled workers, particularly engineers and sales managers, has been a significant challenge for SCART. Staffing agencies are hindering the conversion rate from calls to interview invitations due to potential candidates associating industrial vacuums with the infamous Kirby company.
SCART sources components from Russia and high-quality factory parts from China for their product line. They have already sold industrial vacuums to RuZhimMash, the largest Russian producer of freight rolling stock, a testament to their quality and reliability.
Looking ahead, SCART plans to expand their production, leveraging synergies with their current direction, such as exploring the fields of ventilation and dust removal. The company is also facing difficulties in finding a suitable industrial territory for their production facilities. Despite these challenges, SCART remains committed to its mission of delivering high-quality, reliable industrial vacuums to the Eurasian market.
