Conflict erupts between Oxmen and Pooths over the controversial game "Slap the Star"
Natascha Ochsenknecht and her brother Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht are set to take on Verona Pooth in the popular German TV show, "Beat the Star". The siblings, who hail from Berlin, travelled to Cologne on Friday, ready to face their opponent.
Natascha expressed her excitement about the upcoming show, joking about losing weight for the occasion. Her brother Wilson will also be participating, adding a familial dynamic to the competition.
Vera Int-Veen, a close friend of the Ochsenknechts, showed her support via Instagram, expressing her feelings "from the heart and from friendship". Vera, who is 57 years old, will be cheering on the Ochsenknecht duo in Cologne.
Jimi Blue, another contestant in "Beat the Star", is also in Cologne. However, his recent past has been under scrutiny, as he was convicted of fraud in Austria in August and fined €18,000. Despite this, he has since been allowed to leave the country.
Verona Pooth, who has had a tough couple of months due to moving to Dubai and organizing a lot, described herself as "so excited" just hours before the show started. She was influenced by a recent thigh injury she sustained during the first round of the "Schlag den Star" showdown on September 6, 2025, which affected her performance against Natascha and Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht. Despite the medical treatment, she continued to compete, but her team ultimately lost.
The Ochsenknechts, who arrived in Cologne hours before the live broadcast, had a night at a hotel in the city. They encountered train chaos and switched to a taxi, adding a bit of drama to their pre-show preparations.
Jimi Blue was seen being affectionate with his ex-girlfriend Yeliz Koc at a wedding yesterday, but it seems he has put that behind him for the competition.
Despite her friendship with Natascha and Wilson, Verona Pooth made it clear that today, it's "all about the win". The Ochsenknechts may have special support for "Beat the Star", but only time will tell who will emerge victorious.
