Conflict in Gladbeck's pedestrian area leaves four people hurt

In the evening of June 20, 2025, a disturbing incident unfolded in the Horster Street area of Gladbeck. According to updates from the Police Headquarters Recklinghausen, transmitted via news aktuell, a brawl involving eight individuals took place around 21:45.

The sources suggest that the background to the altercation may have been family disputes. The four suspects, aged 27, 28, 31, 38, and 39, were provisionally arrested. The victims, all from Gladbeck, sustained injuries during the altercation and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Sadly, one of the victims required hospital admission for further treatment. Fortunately, three of the injured victims were released after receiving outpatient care. The identities of the four suspects and the victims remain undisclosed at this time.
