In an unsettling incident that took place on Friday evening, a dispute on the parking lot of a supermarket in Mainz-Weisenau escalated into an attack, with the suspect, a 41-year-old individual, allegedly using an axe to attack two people.

The initial disagreement involved three individuals, including the 41-year-old, a 26-year-old female driver, and a 37-year-old. After separating from the arguers, the 41-year-old returned with an axe, attempting to injure the two men.

Despite the attacker's efforts, the two men managed to disarm the attacker, and the suspect was held until the police arrived. The 41-year-old was subsequently taken into custody by Saturday.
