Construction Continues, Phase Twelve 🏗️

In the digital world of design, Dribbble is making strides to optimize the client experience and increase lead generation for its designers.

Recently, the platform has introduced several features aimed at making it easier for clients to find and contact relevant designers, and for designers to get proposals into clients' hands faster. One such feature is the "Write with AI" tool, which was introduced in June. This tool helps clients generate effective Project Requests, a move that has seen a 15% relative increase in Project Requests going to Pro designers in the last two weeks.

Clients aren't the only ones benefiting from AI. Designers can now generate Project Proposals with AI, helping high-intent clients move their projects forward faster. Since the introduction of this feature, the number of AI-generated proposals sent to clients each week has grown by an average of 38% W/W.

Dribbble's primary goal is to help designers generate and convert leads. To achieve this, the platform analyses the contents of the client's request, the skills and specialties of the designer they found on their own, and ranks relevant designers based on their responsiveness, number of clients worked with, types of projects completed, lead conversion rate, and Pro designer status.

Pro designers, those with a subscription offering benefits such as higher search rankings, inclusion in recommendations, advanced profile features, no-fee transactions, and access to world-class products from partners like Webflow, outperform non-Pro designers in every metric related to lead conversion. It's no surprise then that the increase in leads per designer is concentrated among Pro designers.

The success of Dribbble depends on increasing the number of designers receiving leads and the number of leads each designer receives. To this end, the company is optimizing each stage of the conversion funnel, with a bias toward upper-funnel work that increases the number of clients who make contact with designers.

Since the introduction of these features, there has been an increase in Project Requests sent to designers, Project Proposals sent to clients, and Proposals accepted by clients. The last two weeks have seen a larger percentage (a relative increase of +16%) of unique Project Request recipients being Pro designers.

Dribbble is not just stopping at helping designers generate leads. They are also focusing on optimizing the client experience. Since the platform's inception, it has spent a year developing essential features for clients to request design services and pay, and for designers to deliver work and get paid.

As Dribbble continues to grow and evolve, it's clear that their focus remains on helping designers succeed by connecting them with high-intent clients. With the recent introduction of features like "Write with AI" and recommendations, the results have exceeded expectations, with a 20% increase in the average number of Project Requests sent by clients each week and a 38% increase in the total number of Project Requests sent each week.

The search results on Dribbble do not provide the name of the team behind Dribbble that has been optimizing customer experience on the platform for a year. However, it's clear that their efforts are paying off, with designers receiving more leads compared to the previous ten, and the probability of receiving a response from a designer increasing when a client sends their request to multiple designers.

In a world where competition is fierce, Dribbble is making it easier for designers to stand out and for clients to find the perfect designer for their project. By focusing on optimizing the client experience and lead generation, Dribbble is helping designers grow their businesses and clients find the right designer for their project.
